Real Utopia is an organization which considers this question carefully and is committed to advocacy of solutions that have been proposed in the form of a "Participatory Society".
What is a Participatory Society? It's a vision for an alternative to capitalism, centralized power, racism, patriarchy, and other forms of oppression. Participatory Society gives people equitable power to make decisions.

What is Real Utopia?
We are an open, participatory, international network with members from all walks of life.
We are all committed to self-management and participatory organizing and run our projects and teams along these lines.
We welcome anyone who wants to learn about and maybe even help to advocate for a participatory society.
We aim to "plant the seeds of the future in the present", by organizing ourselves using the methods we believe in.
Our Mission Statement
To raise awareness of Participatory Theory, Vision and Strategy as a new and effective way of thinking about and organising for radical-progressive social transformation.
To lay the foundations for a participatory society through the establishment of an international network of activists committed to advocating and organising for a participatory society.
To raise money to fund events, research, media projects and grassroots organising and activities.

If you want to help us in our mission to advocate for these ideas, and ultimately to bring about a Participatory Society, then here are a few things you can do:
